In recent years, SanaBio GmbH has supported sports and charitable organizations in the region through donations and sponsorships. This has enabled, for example, the rowing club Union Schönebeck to purchase a youth boat and the tennis club TC Blau-Weiß Schönebeck to build all-season courts for young players. Despite submitting the donation receipt in the relevant year and resending it at the beginning of the year, this support has not been recognized by the responsible tax office in Staßfurt.
“We cannot understand this decision and are not receiving any explanation from the tax office,” says Managing Director Wolfgang Schiller. “Therefore, I see no other option but to cease all activities in this regard. We do not have customers in the region but deliver worldwide. Our support is not aimed at increasing local visibility or revenue but is intended to reflect our corporate culture.” Existing commitments will remain valid despite this halt.
