Organic Black Cumin Press Cake

100% pure black cumin press cake for animals made from original Nigella sativa (black cumin seeds). This black cumin press cake is produced by gentle pressing of the black cumin seeds and contains a residual oil content of approx. 20%. The protein content is 31%. For horses prone to choke, we recommend soaking the pellets before feeding. Our black cumin press cake is free from genetic engineering, flavors, colorings, and preservatives.

Protection against insects
Protection against insects: flies, horseflies, and ticks dislike the essential oils in black cumin press cake. Feeding the black cumin cake can thus indirectly serve as an insect repellent and contribute to the well-being of horses.

Also suitable for dogs
Our black cumin cake can also be used as a feed additive for dogs, but acceptance varies between dogs as black cumin cake naturally tastes bitter. Caution: black cumin oil and cake are toxic to cats, as they cannot fully break down bitter substances unlike horses and dogs.

Purely natural for humans and animals
We process raw materials from controlled organic cultivation into high-quality natural products without adding additives.

Feeding recommendation
We recommend a daily feeding of 50-100 grams per pony or horse. Pellets can be fed pure or mixed with feed and also serve as horse treats. Due to its essential oil content, black cumin cake tastes bitter and should ideally be mixed with other feed if the horse refuses to eat it pure.

For dogs, we recommend 3-5 g per 10 kg body weight. Soak pellets before feeding and mix with feed. Start with a smaller amount to test tolerance. Consult your vet if necessary.
