In the pharmaceutical industry, it is added to rubs, baths, and inhalations. The organic cajeput oil is attributed with antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is also said to have pain-relieving effects, helpful for headaches, earaches, or toothaches. Besides its analgesic effect, the organic cajeput oil mildly warms on external application, making it an excellent complement to massage oils for tense or sports-stressed muscles.
