Organic Black cumin oil Egypt cold pressed

The use of organic black cumin oil in the cosmetics industry

The special feature of organic black cumin oil lies in its natural content of essential oils, which determine not only its taste and smell but also its slightly antibacterial, disinfecting effect. Allergy-affected, inflamed skin can be supported with organic black cumin oil. Furthermore, the black cumin oil contains antioxidants that are said to protect against negative environmental influences and thus premature skin aging. Thus, the natural skin barrier is strengthened and moisture is retained in the skin with black cumin oil.

These excellent properties are the foundation for the cosmetics industry in products such as creams, peelings, masks, bath additives and oils, in nail care and shampoos. The range of applications is wide. Use our organic black cumin oil for your cosmetic applications – preferably in combination with organic black cumin peeling.

Interesting facts

Since pharaoh times, black cumin has grown in Egypt, from which the best oil seeds still come today. Since then, it has been regarded as a spice and medicinal remedy.

The name black cumin is somewhat misleading. Botanically, it is not related to cumin or cumin seeds but belongs to the buttercup family. In Germany, it was formerly called "bread root."

The black cumin plant grows about 30 cm high and blooms from June to September white to violet-blue. During ripening, spherical capsules form, which contain the small, as the name suggests, black seeds, from which the black cumin oil is cold-pressed.
