The use of refined (organic) grapeseed oil in the cosmetics industry
Refined organic grape seed oil typically ranges in color from pale yellow to light yellow. Grape seed oil has a light texture and a neutral scent.
A valued cosmetic ingredient, refined grape seed oil is used in a wide range of skincare products designed for oily, combination, and mature skin. Organic refined grape seed oil contains a high proportion of linoleic acid and natural fatty acids that help maintain the skin’s moisture balance.
Its light texture, spreadability, and non-greasy nature make it a popular choice for emulsions, creams, lotions, serums, and massage products. When blended with other vegetable oils, organic refined grape seed oil can be incorporated into formulations that leave the skin soft, smooth, and hydrated.
Organic refined grape seed oil (Vitis vinifera) is derived from organically grown grape seeds. The oil is then filtered and refined. We also offer cold-pressed organic grape seed oil.
Interesting facts
Most grapevines grow as climbing plants, preferring sunlight and a location that provides support for them to climb. Grapevines should be grown in very loose, well-drained soil, but protected from waterlogging. The harvest season varies depending on the variety grown and the weather.
