Organic olive oil (EV), cold-pressed

Our organic olive oil has a green-dark green color and a characteristic, intense olive aroma.

Cold-pressed organic olive oil is valued not only as a high-quality cooking oil but also as a versatile ingredient in cosmetic formulations. It naturally contains a high proportion of oleic acid and vitamin E

In cosmetic applications, olive oil is valued for its emollient properties. High-quality olive oil helps support the skin’s natural lipid barrier and leaves the skin smooth and supple. For this reason, organic olive oil is widely used in skin care, hand care, and nail care products, as well as in body oils and massage oils. It is also frequently used as a carrier oil for plant extracts in cosmetic formulations.

Our organic olive oil is obtained from the pulp of the olive fruit (Olea europaea) through mechanical cold pressing. The oil is then separated from the aqueous phase and filtered. We also have available organic food-grade extra virgin olive oil, along with organic cold-pressed olive oil and refined (organic) olive oil.

Interesting things

The olive tree (Olea europaea) can live for several hundred years and bears fruit over a long period of its lifespan, making it one of the oldest cultivated trees in the Mediterranean region. Its leaves are silver-green and adapted to conserve water, and its small white flowers are mainly pollinated by wind.

Spain is the world's largest producer of extra virgin olive oil, accounting for about half of global production, thanks to its favorable climate and long tradition of olive cultivation.
