Organic elderberry fruit oil, cold-pressed
Our organic elderberry oil has an intense dark green color and a distinctive aroma.
Elderberry oil naturally contains unsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. Thanks to its unique composition, organic elderberry oil is a valued ingredient used in a variety of cosmetic formulations, including creams, lotions, facial oils, and body oils.
The oil is obtained from whole elderberries (Sambucus nigra) through cold pressing, followed by filtration. We also offer organic, food-grade elderberry oil.
Interesting things
Black elder (Sambucus nigra) is a dense shrub or tree that can grow up to 7 metres tall. Its white to cream-coloured flowers have an intense fragrance and grow in umbrella-like clusters up to 30 cm in diameter. The plant flowers from May to July, and its glossy black berries ripen between August and September. The ripe berries produce a reddish juice.
