Our organic rosehip seed oil has a light yellow-reddish-orange color and a distinctive nutty aroma.

Organic rosehip seed oil naturally contains a high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. It also contains natural tocopherols (vitamin E compounds) and carotenoids.

Thanks to its texture, cold-pressed rosehip seed oil spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin feeling soft without a greasy appearance. Rosehip seed oil is a popular ingredient in cosmetic formulations for face, body, hair, hand, and nail care, as well as in massage oils. The pleasant sensation it provides to the skin makes it suitable for products designed for dry skin.

Interesting things

The wild rose (rose hip) is a tall shrub with drooping branches and crescent-shaped thorns. The leaves are pinnate; the flowers grow on short, smooth stems and are pink in color.

Rose hips are red, round to oval in shape, and are, in fact, only the fleshy outer layer of the fruit. The true fruits of the rose hip are the sharp, shiny, stone-hard seeds found inside the fleshy outer layer.
