The use of organic avocado oil in the cosmetics industry
Our organic avocado oil ranges in color from green to dark green and has a distinctive scent.
Organic avocado oil is popular in cosmetic formulations due to its skin-nourishing and emollient properties. Thanks to its fatty acid composition (primarily oleic acid), organic avocado oil is frequently used in cosmetics for dry and stressed skin, as well as dry hair.
Cold-pressed organic avocado oil spreads easily on the skin and can be incorporated into creams, massage oils, soaps, shampoos, and hair care products.
Avocado oil is obtained by cold-pressing whole organic avocados, including the skin and pit, followed by filtration. We also offer refined organic avocado oil for the cosmetics industry.
Interesting facts
Spanish sailors spread this fruit from southern Mexico to the Caribbean, Chile, and later to Asia. Mexico remains the leading exporter to this day, supplying nearly half of the volume of avocados traded.
The avocado is a fist-sized fruit with dark green-red skin, inside which does pulp surround a round pit. The pulp is suitable not only for producing avocado oil, but also for raw consumption. The pit accounts for up to 12% of the fruit.
