Organic Soybean Oil, cold-pressed

Our organic soybean oil has a yellow color and a delicate, characteristic aroma.

In cosmetic formulations, soybean oil is used as a carrier oil for plant extracts, vitamins, and essential oils. Organic soybean oil is suitable for use in creams, lotions, body oils, massage oils, bath oils, balms, and other oil-based formulations for skin and hair care. Soybean oil is valued for its emollient properties, which help support the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Organic soybean oil is obtained by cold-pressing soybeans from certified organic crops. We also offer organic food-grade soybean oil, refined organic food-grade soybean oil, and refined organic soybean oil for the cosmetics industry.

Interesting facts

Soybeans (Glycine soja) are native to East Asia (particularly China, Korea, and Japan) and appear to have been cultivated there for several millennia. Today, soybeans are grown worldwide, with the main producing regions being Brazil, the United States, and Argentina.

The plant belongs to the legume family and typically grows to a height of 80–100 cm. It has a hairy stem and small, white-to-purple flowers that develop into pods containing multiple seeds.

After harvesting, the soybeans are threshed to separate the seeds from the pods and then cleaned. Subsequently, they are cold-pressed to produce soybean oil.
