The use of Organic hemp oil in the cosmetics industry
Refined (organic) hemp seed oil non-EU is a versatile vegetable oil. Our organic refined hemp seed oil has a yellowish-green color and a neutral odor.
Rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, refined hemp seed oil helps maintain the skin’s natural lipid barrier and leaves the skin soft and hydrated. In hair care formulations, it helps improve the appearance of dry hair and enhances its natural shine.
Refining results in a lighter-colored oil with a more neutral scent, making it suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications. We also offer organic hemp seed oil EU.
Interesting facts
The hemp plant and hemp oil have become known mainly because of the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Meanwhile, there is a wide variety of hemp without THC or with very small amounts.
Native to Central Asia, the hemp plant, with its easily recognizable leaves, is cultivated almost worldwide and can grow up to 7 meters tall.
