Our organic rosehip seed oil (Rubiginosa) has a light yellow-reddish-orange color and a distinctive nutty aroma.

The oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. Rosehip oil also contains naturally occurring carotenoids and tocopherols. Due to its high linoleic acid content, the oil has a light texture, spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. Organic rosehip seed oil (Rubiginosa) is suitable for skin, eye, hair, hand, and nail care, as well as for body applications and massage.

Our organic rosehip seed oil is obtained from organically grown rosehip seeds (Rubiginosa) through cold pressing, followed by filtration. We also offer refined organic rosehip oil (Moschata), cold-pressed organic rosehip oil (Moschata), and organic rosehip seed oil for the food industry.

Interesting things

The wild rose (rose hip) is a tall shrub with drooping branches and crescent-shaped thorns. The leaves are pinnate; the flowers grow on short, smooth stems and are pink.

Rose hips are red, round to oval, and are, in fact, only the fleshy outer layer of the fruit. The true fruits of the rose hip are the sharp, shiny, stone-hard seeds found inside the fleshy outer layer.
