Organic coffee bean scrub
Our organic coffee bean scrub is a naturally exfoliating ingredient, finely ground, with a distinctive coffee aroma and a pleasant texture.
Its fine texture makes it suitable for a wide range of cosmetic formulations, including facial scrubs, body scrubs, face masks, soaps, and lip scrubs. The organic coffee scrub can also be combined with our organic coffee bean oil to create exfoliating skincare formulations.
Obtained from roasted and degreased organic coffee beans through mechanical grinding and sieving, the organic coffee scrub helps remove dead skin cells and leaves the skin feeling smooth.
Interesting things
The evergreen coffee bush with its small, white coffee blossoms reaches a height of 5-6 meters. Mature fruits, the so-called coffee cherries, turn purple-black and can be picked or peeled. Afterwards, they either dry out for weeks or are rinsed with water, fermented, and then dried. Both methods loosen the pulp and the surrounding bean skins so that the coffee bean can be roasted.
