Walnut oil, cold-pressed
Our cold-pressed walnut oil is light yellow in colour and has a distinctive nutty flavour.
Made from carefully selected walnut kernels (Juglans regia), our walnut oil is a versatile vegetable oil rich in linoleic acid. The oil can be used in creams, ointments, lotions, shower gels, shampoos, massage oils and other cosmetic formulations.
Walnut oil is obtained by cold-pressing crushed walnut kernels, followed by filtration. This process preserves the oil’s characteristic colour and aroma, resulting in a vegetable oil suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications.
We also supply food-grade organic walnut oil, as well as refined organic walnut oil and deodorised organic walnut oil.
Interesting facts
The walnut tree, with its broad crown, can reach a height of approximately 10–25 m. Young walnut trees have smooth, grayish-ash-colored bark that, as the tree ages, becomes deeply fissured and dark.
Organic walnut oil is obtained by cold-pressing the kernels and filtering. The walnuts are shelled, crushed, and the oil is extracted from them.
