Use of organic almond oil in the cosmetics industry
Organic almond oil, made from sweet almonds, is considered a real treasure among cosmetic oils. It is often used in the production of skin oils, massage oils, bath oils, lip care products, ointments, creams, baby care products, packs, and hair care products because it is suitable for almost every skin type. Almond oil penetrates well into the skin and is said to help restore the skin's lipid balance. This provides relief for irritated, dry skin and hair. Additionally, almond oil is a popular base oil for essential oils.
Good to know
The almond fruits are harvested in autumn. The shells are removed, the kernels are split, the seeds are extracted and dried. Then the almond seeds are cold pressed. The almond oil separates from the fruit water and is then decanted and filtered.
