The use of Organic Camelina Oil in the cosmetics industry
Organic Camelina Oil is highly valued in the cosmetics industry. It is rich in alpha-linolenic acid and is believed to nourish dry skin and stimulate cell renewal. It is well tolerated and absorbs quickly into the skin.
Thus, it is primarily used in face masks, creams, and body lotions, but also in decorative cosmetics within the cosmetics industry.
Good to know
The camelina plant blooms pale yellow—a distinct difference from the similarly named blue-white flax plant.
To produce Camelina Oil, the seeds from the pod-like fruits are extracted and cold-pressed using our screw press.
