The use of organic safflower oil in the cosmetic industry

Our organic high-oleic safflower oil is obtained by gentle cold pressing from carefully selected safflower seeds. Rich in valuable monounsaturated fatty acids, especially oleic acid, and vitamin E, this oil is an excellent choice for the cosmetic industry. Its mild flavor and light color make it ideal for manufacturing skin care products and cosmetic applications.

Interesting facts

The safflower, also known as false saffron, not only offers a striking flower color but was once used to obtain the dye carthamin. Today it is mainly cultivated for oil production. The fast-growing plant can reach a height of up to 1.30 meters and has spiny leaves. Its flowers resemble small baskets and produce up to 150 orange-yellow tubular flowers.
