The use of Organic Cocoa Butter in the cosmetics industry

At room temperature, cocoa butter is solid. On the skin, it slowly melts into a cream.

Cocoa butter is part of what’s called cocoa mass, created by grinding roasted cocoa beans. Through cold pressing or centrifugation, cocoa butter is separated from the cocoa mass. The defatted cocoa mass can then be further processed into cocoa powder, while the cocoa butter is used in other applications.
