Organic Coconut Oil Cold Pressed

Organic Coconut Oil and its use in the food industry

Our SanaBio Organic Coconut Oil, also known as organic coconut fat, impresses with particularly high quality and a noble, typical coconut flavor.

Our Organic Coconut Oil goes perfectly with exotic dishes, soups, curries, and also with muesli and desserts. In cold dishes, it is creamy-solid and melts delicately in the mouth, creating a cooling and refreshing effect. Add a touch of exoticism to your food products with our Organic Coconut Oil!

The Organic Coconut Oil is highly heat-stable due to its composition and is therefore excellent for frying and deep-frying vegetarian and vegan dishes.

If you are more interested in the valuable ingredients and fatty acid profile than in the characteristic smell of Organic Coconut Oil, we recommend our refined version.

Did you know?

The original home of the coconut palm is likely the Malay Archipelago. Today, it is widespread in all tropical regions due to the favorable climate and especially the buoyancy of the coconut.

The appearance of the coconut palm corresponds to the romantic idea of a Caribbean vacation: a 30–35 m high, columnar, unbranched trunk, usually slightly curved from the base – with its stone fruits, the coconuts, growing at the base of the leaves. A fully bearing palm can produce 60 to 160 nuts, which form the basis for Organic Coconut Oil.

Organic Coconut Oil is obtained by crushing and then cold pressing the so-called copra. Copra is the fatty, dried endosperm or kernel flesh of the coconut.
