Organic Chia flour for the food industry
Our organic chia flour is a light to dark brown powder with a delicate aroma and a distinctive flavor. It is made from organic chia seeds during the production of organic chia oil. After gentle cold pressing, the remaining press cake is finely ground to produce chia flour.
Organic chia flour is a versatile ingredient, suitable for a wide range of applications, including baked goods, desserts, smoothies, and savory dishes, as well as sauces and dressings. Thanks to its natural binding properties, chia seed flour can be used as a thickening agent or as a plant-based alternative to eggs in certain recipes.
The product naturally contains dietary fiber and protein. The composition may vary depending on the raw material and processing conditions.

Chia (Salvia hispanica) is an annual herbaceous plant that can reach a height of approximately 60 to 120 cm, depending on growing conditions.
The plant develops branching stems with dark green, slightly hairy leaves. Its small flowers are blue to violet and form compact clusters. After flowering, the plant produces seed heads containing the chia seeds, which range in color from gray to brown or black.
These seeds are a versatile ingredient in a wide range of food applications.
