Organic almond oil and its use in the food industry
Organic sweet almond oil delights with its characteristic nutty aroma and a hint of marzipan. Similar to organic apricot kernel oil, the food industry uses organic almond oil for salad dressings or delicious marinades due to its nutty taste.
Organic sweet almond oil is also popular in cakes, cookies, and other sweet baked goods. Furthermore, in combination with chocolate, the food industry creates pralines that melt in your mouth.

What ingredients does organic sweet almond oil contain?
Organic sweet almond oil has a high content of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These acids cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through diet, helping to maintain normal cholesterol levels. Organic almond oil also contains vitamin E.
Obtaining organic almond oil
Our organic almond oil is cold-pressed from sweet almonds. Almond oil can also be extracted from bitter almonds, but this is considered an essential oil and should not be consumed due to its hydrocyanic acid content.
Interesting facts
The almond tree is a medium-sized tree with a relatively poorly developed root system. The branches are slightly reddish, and the pink flowers grow in groups of two or three on short stems.
The fruits ripen in autumn and are oval in shape, about 4 cm long and 3 cm thick, gray-green in color, and slightly hairy. The hard pulp breaks open when fully ripe, revealing a brown seed with sharp ridges.
The seed is brown, about 2 cm long, and usually 1.5 cm wide. This seed is known as an almond and is used raw or to make marzipan. The kernel can contain 40% to 60% organic oil.
