Interesting facts
The carrot is a biennial plant that can grow to a height of 0.3 - 1m and has pinnate leaves. In its heyday, which extends from June to September, it develops white stands.
The roots are spherical, oblong-conical, or cylindrical with a wood-like core and an orange-red color. The wild carrot contains 7.42 - 10.83% fatty oil, the cultivated one 7.3 - 12.44%. In addition, the carrot has a high proportion of carotene, which is also responsible for its color.
