Neroli Essential Oil
The Essential Neroli Oil has a yellow colour and is characterised by an intense, fresh and floral aroma with distinctive citrus notes.
In the cosmetics and perfume industry, neroli oil is particularly suitable for floral, fresh and elegant fragrance compositions and is used in perfumes, eau de cologne, soaps and numerous other cosmetic and personal care products. Neroli oil is used, among other things, in chypre, fougère, floral, amber and other fragrance compositions.
For fresh, floral and elegant fragrance profiles, neroli oil combines particularly well with Organic Roman Chamomile Oil and Coriander Oil.
In aromatherapy, neroli oil is used in aroma lamps, massage oils, oil baths and for inhalation.
Our essential neroli oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers of the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium var. amara).
Interesting Things
Neroli oil is obtained from the white flowers of the bitter orange and is considered one of the most distinctive floral oils derived from citrus plants. The bitter orange, also known as Seville orange, belongs to the Rutaceae family (citrus family). The intense interplay of floral and fresh citrus notes makes neroli oil a valued ingredient in high-quality perfume and cosmetic formulations.
