Rose Water ORGANIC (Rose Hydrosol)
Rose water is a by-product produced during the manufacture of rose oil. The essential water is obtained during the so-called rose petal distillation and is also referred to as rose hydrosol. It is the condensate formed after cooling the distillation steam. It is free from fats, acids, or alcohols, which is why it is considered particularly beneficial to health.
Use in the cosmetics industry
The fine, floral scent of rose water, reminiscent of a walk through a magnificent rose garden, captivates in the cosmetics industry in floral perfumes and brings relaxation in bath additives or in aromatherapy. The organic rose water without alcohol additives neutralizes the pH value of the skin, benefiting especially sensitive, eczema-prone, or reddened skin, which should have its protective barrier strengthened. With regular use, firmness and elasticity are said to increase again. The same applies to mature skin, as organic rose water contains antioxidants and is said to improve moisture balance. These moisture-boosting, mildly cooling properties are also said to care for the skin after sunbathing. The non-comedogenic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial character of organic rose water benefits impure, oily skin, which should calm and be clarified. Even in cases of inflamed oral mucosa or bad breath, organic rose water is said to help as a mouthwash solution.
Mixed with coconut oil, organic rose water becomes a mild make-up remover. As a face spray, organic rose water refreshes in summer. A great side effect is the fixing of makeup. Not only the facial skin but also the body and hair are cared for with organic rose water. After shaving, it soothes and reduces razor burn. Dry hair and itchy scalp are alleviated while enjoying the pleasant fragrance.
Use in the food industry
The aroma of organic rose water is also used in the food industry. Champagne and liqueurs, especially non-alcoholic variants, are often refined with organic rose water. It gives pralines an exquisite touch.
Use in aromatherapy
In aromatherapy, rose water is said to bring calm and relaxation.
