Organic Lavender Oil Bulgaria
The organic lavender oil has a characteristic, fresh and bloomy scent. The most common uses of lavender oil are for relaxation and sleep, aromatherapy, skin care, hair care, home use and for massage blends. In aromatherapy, organic lavender oil is said to fight anxiety, reduce insomnia, stress and reduce irritability. The sweet scent of organic lavender oil is said to calm you down and strengthen your nerves again.
Organic lavender oil makes a great addition to cosmetics, therefore it can be used in soaps, shampoos, aftershave, bath additives, etc. They have gently nourishing properties and a pleasant scent.
The lavender oil is obtained by water steam distillation of the fresh blossoms of Lavandula angustifolia.
Because organic lavender oil is less dense than water and hydrophobic, it floats above the hydrosol and can be collected.

Ancient Egyptians, ancient Romans and Greeks used lavender in bathing, perfumes, rituals, linen storage and herbal preparations. The word “lavender” is often linked to the Latin lavare, which means “to wash”.
Lavender is usually harvested during peak flowering, often in sunny, dry conditions and when oil concentration is highest.
