Organic Frankincense Oil (Olibanum Oil)
Organic frankincense oil (olibanum oil) has a yellow color and is characterized by a woody-balsamic fragrance profile with delicate citrus notes.
In the cosmetics industry, organic frankincense oil is particularly valued for its skin-conditioning properties and is often incorporated into formulations for mature skin. In addition, organic olibanum oil is a highly regarded fragrance ingredient for perfumes, skincare products, room fragrances, as well as bath and wellness applications.
Organic frankincense oil is obtained through steam distillation of the gum resin of the Indian frankincense tree (Boswellia serrata).
For additional woody fragrance notes, we recommend our organic sandalwood oil and organic cedarwood oil.
