The popular Mediterranean classic for bread, salad, cheese, pizza, pasta, hummus, or as a marinade. The fruity taste and valuable unsaturated fatty acids of organic olive oil enhance any recipe. For deep frying, extra virgin olive oil is not suitable. Use our refined variant for this purpose.
Good to know
The olive tree, the postcard image of the Mediterranean, bears its first fruit at about 10 years old and can live up to 1000 years. Its gnarled bark and silver-like leaves are distinctive features.
Similar to avocado oil, organic olive oil is obtained from the fruit pulp and not from the seed using cold pressing.
