The use of organic cranberry oil in the cosmetics industry
Our organic cranberry seed oil is a yellow oil with a characteristic sweet, fruity aroma. Organic cranberry seed oil naturally contains fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid, as well as tocopherols.
Thanks to its composition and sensory properties, the oil is suitable for a variety of cosmetic formulations, such as skin care, body care, and other personal care products.
Cold-pressed cranberry seed oil is valued for its light, non-greasy texture. Its fruity aroma also makes it an attractive ingredient for natural cosmetics.
The oil is obtained from cranberry seeds through cold pressing and is subsequently filtered. This gentle processing method helps preserve the oil’s natural composition. We also offer cranberry oil for the food industry.
Interesting facts
Cranberry oil is obtained from the seeds of the cranberry plant (related to blueberries) by mechanical cold pressing.
The cranberry tree grows as a low evergreen shrub with white to pink flowers that resemble the shape of a crane. The fruits, whose seeds are used for organic cranberry oil and cranberry flour production, are red and cherry-sized.
