The use of organic cranberry oil in the cosmetics industry
The fruity scent of the cold-pressed, untreated organic cranberry oil, together with its valuable ingredients such as alpha-linolenic acid or tocopherol, make it wonderful for use in the cosmetics industry. Due to the favorable composition of organic cranberry oil, it is said to be cell-regenerating, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and clarifying. Therefore, it is suitable both for cosmetic products against dry skin with impaired barrier function as well as for impure skin. In both cases, the skin is said to be cared for to become soft and smooth again without feeling greasy.
For a care line of cranberry products, we recommend besides our organic cranberry oil also our organic cranberry peeling.
Interesting facts
The cranberry grows as a low, evergreen shrub with white to pink flowers that resemble the shape of a crane. The fruits, whose seeds are used to extract organic cranberry oil, are red and cherry-sized.
