The steam distillation of the fruits, partly also the bark and leaves of the Litsea Cubeba Oil tree produces the Organic Litsea Cubeba Oil.
Due to the high citral content, the essential oil plays a major role in natural medicine against viral infections such as herpes, shingles or flu. It is also said to strengthen the digestive tract and alleviate possible intestinal inflammations.
As a citrus component, it scents soaps, detergents and other household cleaners like dishwashing liquids or window cleaners in cosmetics.
As a citrus aroma, it can be used in the food industry for liqueurs, baked goods or lemonades.
In aromatherapy, it is said to improve concentration, calm and relieve sleep disorders.
The Organic Litsea Cubeba Oil pairs well with Cajeput, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Orange or Tea Tree.
