Organic Petitgrain Oil
Organic Petitgrain Oil is obtained from the leaves and twig tips of the blood orange by steam distillation. In addition to its use in the pharmaceutical sector for cramps and mild infections, Organic Petitgrain Oil is especially popular in the cosmetics industry.
Its fresh, invigorating scent combined with antibacterial properties makes it ideal for use in care products like facial toners, oils, or creams for impure, inflamed, acne-prone skin. It is said to help rebalance sebum production. Its floral aroma is also found in many perfumes, wellness baths, soaps, shampoos, and room fragrances. Add lightness to your recipes and formulations.
Our Organic Petitgrain Oil is food grade. Its light, floral licorice note makes it suitable for liqueurs and sweets, although petitgrain is still not commonly used in ingredient lists.
In aromatherapy, the light scent of Organic Petitgrain Oil is said to balance and stimulate, relieving stress and lethargy, and making room for creativity, euphoria, and focus.
