Organic Stone Pine Oil (Swiss Pine Oil)
The organic stone pine oil, sometimes called organic Swiss pine oil, is obtained by steam distillation of the needles and tips of the twigs of the stone pine.
In the pharmaceutical field, the organic stone pine oil (Swiss pine oil) is used as an additive in products against respiratory infections (like bronchitis), for example in inhalants or rubs, because the organic stone pine oil is attributed with mucolytic properties. The pharmaceutical industry also adds the organic stone pine oil to rheumatism and muscle relaxation products.
The fresh coniferous scent of the organic stone pine oil is popular in the cosmetic industry for men's perfumes, which also come into their own in soaps or bath additives, especially in cold baths. Our cosmetic industry customers also use the organic stone pine oil in massage oils and body oils. It is even added to products that repel insects or generally improve the perception of indoor air quality.
Although theoretically the organic stone pine oil could be used as a food product in compliance with flavoring regulations, its use is rare.
In aromatherapy, the organic stone pine oil is said to bring calm and relaxation and is therefore used in cases of excessive restlessness. Confusing thoughts are said to be cleared again through the aroma of the organic stone pine oil.
The organic stone pine oil harmonizes well with: organic bergamot oil, organic cajeput oil, organic eucalyptus oil, organic orange oil, organic vetiver oil, organic juniper oil, and organic lemon oil.
