Interesting facts
The Aztecs used avocados in their diet. Spanish sailors then spread them from southern Mexico to the Caribbean, Chile, and later to Asia. Mexico remains the main exporter to this day, delivering almost half of the traded avocado volume.
The avocado is a single-seeded, usually fist-sized berry with dark green to dark red skin, inside which the round seed is surrounded by pulp. The pulp is suitable not only for producing avocado oil but also for raw consumption. The seed accounts for up to 12% of the fruit.
Our Organic Avocado Oil is cold-pressed from the pulp and the split seed of the avocado.
