Organic Coffee Bean Flour and its use in the food industry

Organic de-oiled coffee flour adds a distinctive, slightly bitter, roasted flavor to a wide range of foods. It is produced from roasted and de-oiled organic coffee beans of various origins, which are mechanically ground and sifted.

Organic coffee flour is suitable for sweet dishes, where it provides a pleasant contrast, especially in pastries and desserts. Both our coffee bean flour and organic coffee bean oil are also suitable for savory dishes: sauces, marinades, fine cuts of meat, or vegetable dishes can take on a deep and complex flavor. The flour can also be used in smoothies or plant-based recipes for a characteristic roasted flavor.

Interesting facts

The coffee plant is an evergreen shrub or small tree that reaches a height of about 5-6 meters. Its elongated, elliptical, light green leaves, arranged oppositely, grow to about 7-10 cm in length, have wavy edges, and a shiny, leathery upper surface. The small, white flowers grow in clusters in the leaf axils and give off a fragrance reminiscent of jasmine.

The fruits of the coffee plant are about the size of a cherry. As they ripen, their color changes from green to yellow and red, and finally to purple-black. Inside the fruit are two seeds, each enclosed in a dry shell.
