The use of organic perilla oil in the cosmetics industry
Due to the high content of alpha-linolenic acid, organic perilla oil is a particularly valuable oil for the cosmetics industry. Similar in composition to flaxseed oil but much more stable and therefore almost even better to use, perilla oil is said to make the skin look firmer and more youthful. It is attributed cell restructuring properties that care for dry, sensitive or mature skin. Most commonly, organic perilla oil is used in night care products.

We gently cold press perilla seeds from certified organic cultivation to produce our organic perilla oil.
Perilla is an annual herb, grows 0.5 to 1 m tall, has long-stalked, egg-shaped, curled-edge leaves and small, whitish, 3 to 10 mm long flowers, which grow bilabiate and bell-shaped in false whorls. The fruits are egg-shaped or round and have a diameter of about 1.5 mm. Inside is the perilla seed.
