Palmarosa is a tropical, reed-like grass from the family of sweet grasses. Its stalks smell aromatic like roses. Although related to lemongrass and citronella, it contains mostly geraniol and not citral like its relatives, which explains its rosy instead of citrus scent. Organic Palmarosa Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the Palmarosa grass stalks.

The essential Organic Palmarosa Oil is a slightly mobile, yellowish liquid. It has a characteristic rosy-floral smell.
