The use of organic canola oil in the cosmetics industry
All recipes and formulations for dry, cracked skin are suitable for the use of canola oil in cosmetics. Additionally, canola oil is often used in anti-aging products because it has an excellent fatty acid profile. Linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids make canola oil very skin-compatible. The vitamin E in canola oil is said to protect against negative environmental influences.
Interesting facts
SanaBio organic canola oil is obtained by cold pressing and filtration from the small, dark brown seeds of 00-rapeseed, a variety bred to be nearly free of erucic acid. The seeds are thoroughly cleaned and rolled beforehand.
Canola (Brassica napus) is an upright plant 60-140 cm tall. The leaves are lanceolate, blue-green and smooth. The flowers are golden yellow and clustered in racemes. The fruit is a 5-10 cm long pod.
